Typically, an equitable distribution of property due to a dissolution of marriage, or divorce, occurs at the time a Final Judgment is entered.  However, there a limited number of situations in which a partial distribution of property can be made during the pendency of a divorce.  Either party may file a sworn motion establishing a factual basis for the interim distribution.  An interim order may be entered at any time after the date of filing of the Petition.

If you are involved in an Orlando divorce and believe a distribution of property is warranted before the Final Judgment, speak to your qualified Orange County family law divorce attorney.  It is important to fully understand the issue and your chances for relief before filing any motion with the court.  If you have not retained a divorce lawyer and would like to schedule an initial consultation with Attorney Wade P.
