According to Florida law, the mother of a child born out of wedlock is the natural guardian of the child and is entitled to primary residential care and custody of the child unless the court enters an order stating otherwise.  Until an order establishing paternity is entered by the Court, the putative (or supposed) father of the child has no parental rights.  For fathers of children born to unwed mothers, this is a very important issue.

In order to establish your rights and responsibilities regarding your child, you must legally establish paternity.  At Family Law of Orlando, Attorney Wade P. Luther has been helping fathers ensure their rights regarding their children for over a decade.  Mr. Luther has devoted his career to the practice of family law.  He has a unique understanding of the issues parents face during paternity and other family law matters.  To schedule an initial consultation with Attorney Luther regarding your Orlando paternity or Orlando family law action, contact Family Law of Orlando by email or by calling (407) 835-9900.
