When your Orlando Family Law Attorney needs the Court to enter an order on your behalf, he will file a Motion.  A Motion is a formal document that makes a specific request to the Court.  The Motion will briefly outline the circumstances that support the request.  It will then tell the Court exactly what it would like the Judge to order, or rule.

In a Divorce or Paternity action, a Motion is an effective measure for obtaining information from a non-compliant opposing party or relief from the court during the litigation process.  After the Motion is filed with the Court and opposing party, a hearing will be held with the judge.  Each party will have an opportunity to state their case regarding the circumstances of the Motion.  The Judge will then make a ruling, or decision.

Your experienced Family Law Paternity or Divorce Lawyer will keep you informed about any Motions he or she may have to file to advance your case and ensure you are well represented.  To schedule an initial consultation with Attorney Wade P.
